New original music for accordion, electronica and poetry from the North
Collaboration between Danish composer Karoline Skriver and Icelandic accordionist Ásta Soffia Thorgeirsdottir. The two musicians are continuously investigating new compositions for accordion, electronica/adapted field recordings and spoken nordic poetry. In 2026 they will be traveling around the North to collaborate with four different poets, working with music composed by Karoline Skriver written to selected poems. The pieces will be performed by Ásta Soffia and Karoline and recited live in their different Nordic languages bye the poets themselves.
