Collaboration between Danish composer  Karoline Skriver and Icelandic accordionist Ásta Soffia Thorgeirsdottir. The two musicians meet both in the mountains of Norway, where Ásta currently lives, and the countryside of Denmark – opening up and investigating a space between accordion, electronica/adapted field recordings and spoken nordic poetry as the base for new compositions by Karoline. They are looking into inviting nordic poets to join the proces. The two artist are inspired by the nordic landscape in which they meet – and also the nordic traditional music – though the music will have a much more contemporary expression.
